Amazon is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join a cross‑platform, customer‑obsessed team working to build best‑in‑class consumer products. • Be responsible for development of new features for embedded systems
• Investigate, prototype and deliver new and innovative system solutions
• Design, develop and verify firmware for embedded systems
• Participate in design reviews, API development, and documentation
• Work with new technologies that are vital to product development
• Deliver investigation plans and reports, architectural documents, design specs, software and firmware source code, build scripts
• Perform tasks including debugging, bring‑up, beta and production software development
• Successfully collaborate with both software and hardware product teams

• 5+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems (design patterns, reliability and scaling)
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

• 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is USD 193,300–261,500 annually.
