• Experience with Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe) or other high-speed IO protocols and ML SOC architecture.

Our team develops the node and distributed system software, firmware, tools, and testing frameworks essential for integrating Accelerators—such as GPUs, TPUs, and Video Transcoder Accelerators—into the Google Data Center. By supporting these and other emerging domain-specific systems, we enable machine learning and high-performance workloads for both internal services like Gemini and You Tube, and for Google Cloud customers.

This senior software engineering position offers a unique opportunity to influence the entire stack, from the hardware-software interface and computer architecture to the deployment of advanced AI systems. In this role, you will be a versatile engineer with deep expertise in how workloads utilize accelerators and a strong focus on quality and reliability throughout the manufacturing and deployment life‑cycle.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $262,000 - $365,000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits
