Position Summary
Full‑time onsite role based in Sunnyvale, CA. Remote and hybrid options are not available. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
What You'll Do- Lead and participate in medium‑ to large‑scale projects by reviewing requirements, translating them into technical solutions, gathering design documents and wireframes, developing code, testing, and communicating status and issues to stakeholders. Provide leadership to the project team.
- Lead small groups of 4‑6 engineers, including offshore associates, by providing pertinent documents, direction, examples, and reviewing proposed solutions.
- Troubleshoot business and production issues, perform root cause analysis, and document findings.
- Support the business by responding to user queries, facilitating cross‑functional partnerships, and providing technical feasibility guidance.
- Lead discovery phases of medium‑ to large‑scale projects, developing high‑level designs and obtaining cross‑functional approvals.
- Apply up‑to‑date expertise to action plans, build commitment, and support alignment with business needs.
- Facilitate the implementation of business solutions, identify improvements, and adapt to organizational changes.
- Model compliance with company policies and support the mission and values of the organization.
- 6+ years of experience in backend engineering platform development.
- 4+ years of experience with Java Spring and Spring Boot.
- Strong core Java and J2EE knowledge.
- Hands‑on experience building large‑scale microservices.
- In‑depth knowledge of No
SQL databases such as Cosmos or MongoDB. - Strong knowledge of messaging systems such as Kafka.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms like Azure or GCP.
- Clear understanding of design principles for large‑scale, robust platforms.
- Ability to convert business requirements into low‑level designs and implement with proper testing.
- Ability to debug code, integrate new functionalities, and guarantee existing use cases work as expected.
- Ability to generate use cases for customer functionality.
- Ability to deliver quickly and efficiently without compromising code quality.

Candidates Must MeetMinimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field and 3 years’ experience in software engineering.
- Or 5 years’ experience in software engineering.
- Master’s degree in a relevant field and 1 year’s experience in software engineering.
- Experience creating inclusive digital experiences, implementing WCAG 2.2 AA standards, and applying accessibility best practices.
