• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development.
• 5 years of experience building and developing large‑scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
• 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products.
• 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.

• Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 8 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
• 3 years of experience working in an organization involving cross‑functional or cross‑business projects.

Google's software engineers develop next‑generation technologies that enable billions of users to connect, explore, and interact with information. This role focuses on large‑scale system design, distributed computing, networking, and AI infrastructure. You will work on a specific project critical to Google’s needs, with opportunities to switch teams as the business evolves. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance high‑performance software solutions across the full stack.

As part of the AI and Infrastructure team, you will contribute to hyperscale computing solutions, including Vertex AI, and drive global impact through software, hardware, and infrastructure innovations.

US: $207,000 - $301,000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits
