As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with our business goals and client needs.

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications to support Clover's business goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Perform coding, testing, and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability across the payments space.
• Maintain and improve existing codebases and lead peer review processes.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to enhance team capabilities.

• 10+ years of experience in software development.
• 8+ years of experience in Java, Spring.
• 5+ years of experience in Micro Service design and implementation.
• 5+ years of experience in REST API design.
• 5+ years of experience in handling large scale distributed systems.
• 4+ years of experience in SQL databases, involving design of tables, optimizing queries.
• 3+ years of experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP services.
• 3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices.
• 3+ years of experience with Agile methodologies.
• 8+ years of equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience.

• Experience in the financial services industry.

You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role. This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.

These pay ranges apply to employees in Sunnyvale, California. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.

For incentive eligible associates, the successful candidate is eligible for an annual incentive opportunity which may be delivered as a mix of cash bonus and equity awards in the Company’s sole discretion.
