Responsibilities
Design flight software algorithms, conduct performance analysis and support hardware‑in‑the‑loop testing.
Basic Qualifications- B.S. or M.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Software Engineering or related degree
- Broad technical skills including rigid body dynamics, control theory, computer programming or related fields.
- Experience using Matlab and/or Simulink for simulations, analysis of feedback control systems, closed loop guidance, or navigation algorithms.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Security clearance. Thus US Citizenship is required.
- Experience with simulation and physics‑based modeling
- Knowledge of missile systems
- Experience with missile flight controls and guidance
- Experience with model‑based software development using Simulink (autocoding)
- Experience with Python, FORTRAN, C and C++
- Experience with image processing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative team environment.
- Demonstrated ability as a team player to build consensus among peers and build effective relationships with team members.
- Demonstrated communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to peers, advisors/management, subcontractors and customers.
- Active DoD Secret clearance
This position requires a government security clearance. The clearance level required is Secret. Must be a US Citizen for consideration.
SalaryThe annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $68,000 - $119,830.
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $78,200 - $135,470.
