Embedded Software Engineer

Chipton-Ross is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer for a contract opportunity in Sunnyvale, CA.

• Experience with programming languages such as C, C++
• Ability to work with multi-disciplined teams
• Experience in embedded software development
• Active/Final Secret Clearance

Designs, develops, operates, and maintains software and firmware components and computing systems software to be applied to and integrated with engineering scientific and manufacturing requirements. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the system development life cycle to support the generation of such engineering applications and produces systems such as laboratory simulations, airplane flight control and display systems, avionics mechanical and electrical systems, weapons armament commercial and military aircraft systems, mobile and ground-based defense systems, space systems and other systems and applications of this nature.

Interfaces with customers, suppliers, application users and other technical and support personnel.

• Accredited Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Aerospace Engineering or other related degree program from an accredited college/university
