Are you passionate about building test automation solutions for high-tech hardware systems?
Role OverviewAs a Test Software Engineer, you'll develop and debug LabVIEW and Python code to control and interface with various test equipment—like oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, lasers, and optical transceivers—used in high-precision optical bench testing environments. You'll collaborate closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to support both sustaining and new product introduction (NPI) efforts.
What You’ll Do- Design, develop, and optimize test software using LabVIEW, Python, and Matlab
- Interface with custom PCBAs, test instruments, and NI hardware using USB and DLLs
- Analyze data, optimize algorithms, and improve test methods
- Maintain and extend legacy test systems with minimal documentation
- Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate test systems into production
- Deliver high-quality documentation and user support for software tools
- Proficient in LabVIEW, Matlab, Python, and C#
- Experience sustaining and developing test systems for high-tech manufacturing
- Strong background in test equipment and test automation
- Excellent debugging, documentation, and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Familiarity with DFX (Design for Testability/Manufacturability)
