The Marketplace Payments team develops secure, scalable payment platforms and financial services that enable global sellers to transact efficiently and expand their businesses. Collaborating across functions, the team ensures a seamless, reliable experience for Walmart sellers while driving continuous improvement.

What you'll do...

* Deliver platform capabilities including infrastructure, tooling, and ML frameworks aligned with roadmap milestones and domain priorities.

* Lead end-to-end software development lifecycle activities-design, coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, maintenance-while leveraging AI to accelerate delivery and enhance quality across every stage of the SDLC.

* Apply cloud-native architecture principles to ensure scalable, resilient, and agile systems.

* Conduct system design reviews to validate feasibility and ensure alignment with architectural best practices.

* Build AI-driven applications and integrate ML components using multiple programming languages.

* Mentor engineers, influence technical decisions, and promote engineering excellence through documentation and knowledge sharing.

* Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex problems into actionable technical requirements and track success metrics.

What you'll bring:

* Expertise in cloud-native architecture, including microservices, containers, and automation to ensure scalable and resilient systems.

* Strong experience in software design patterns, API design, and software prototyping to deliver maintainable and modular solutions.

* Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Type Script, Python, Java.

* Lead full software development lifecycle activities including coding, testing, CI/CD deployment, and maintenance.

* Experience in leveraging AI to accelerate software development and improve engineering productivity.

* Skilled in Dev Ops engineering practices to enhance infrastructure, tooling, and developer productivity.

* Experience applying data-driven decision making to optimize engineering processes and outcomes.

* Ability to conduct design reviews and remedial actions to uphold quality and alignment with architectural standards.
