Position: Senior Staff Software Engineer, Accelerator Platforms

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in software development.
  • 7 years of experience working with embedded operating systems.
  • 5 years of experience with design and architecture, and testing/launching software products.
  • Experience with Linux networking concepts and development (e.g., sockets, TCP/IP, kernel networking stack).
  • Experience with Linux OS internals, kernel development, or systems programming.
Preferred qualifications
  • Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
  • 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
  • 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross‑functional, or cross‑business projects.
  • Experience in High-Performance Computing (HPC) systems and networking.
  • Familiarity with industry standardization bodies (e.g., PCI‑SIG, Compute Express Link (CXL) Consortium, Distributed Management Task Force (DMTF), Open Compute Project (OCP)).

Your focus will be on the software stack above the firmware, including distributed systems, Linux OS and networking, power management, and seamless integration with hardware through buses like Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe). You will lead the technical goal and execution, enabling massive‑scale deployment of Accelerators (e.g., GPUs, TPUs, etc.)

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $262,000 – $365,000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits.
