Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior iOS Engineer to join our dynamic mobile team. You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and optimizing high-performance applications using the latest Swift and SwiftUI frameworks. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced Agile environment, champions robust architectural improvements, mentors junior engineers, and collaborates across product, design, and data Science teams.

What

you’ll do
  • Lead the discovery phase of medium‑ to large Mobile Engineering projects, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to determine strategy, translate it into sustainable mobile solutions, and obtain approvals.
  • Troubleshoot business and production issues across mobile devices, gathering impact data, engaging support teams, conducting root‑cause analysis, and documenting findings.
  • Provide mobile engineering support to the business by responding to user questions and concerns, forecasting technology needs, and leading cross‑functional partnerships to implement solutions.
  • Lead small project teams by defining project plans, identifying solutions and timelines, reviewing and giving feedback on proposed solutions, and performing design and code reviews.
  • Manage medium‑ to large‑scale projects by translating requirements into mobile solutions for iPhone and Android, writing and developing reusable code, conducting testing, communicating status, and ensuring on‑time delivery.
  • Demonstrate expertise in development and improvement of action plans, providing expert advice and guidance to others, and aligning efforts to meet business needs.
  • Build and support implementation of business solutions by establishing relationships with stakeholders, identifying needs, and monitoring progress to capitalize on improvement opportunities.
  • Model compliance with company policies, incorporating ethics and compliance into project execution, and providing guidance to others on these matters.
What you’ll bring
  • 5+ years of experience building iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, and modern architectural patterns (MVVM, VIPER, Clean Architecture, Coordinators).
  • Expertise with iOS SDK, UIKit, Swift Concurrency (async/await), and Combine frameworks.
  • Experience integrating with backend APIs (REST, GraphQL, JSON, HTTP) and familiarity with Node.js services.
  • Deep understanding of software design principles, data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
  • Strong debugging, performance monitoring, and optimization skills, including memory management and app stability improvement.
  • Proficiency in writing unit and UI tests, automating workflows, and conducting code reviews to maintain code quality.
  • Familiarity with third‑party libraries and dependency managers (Cocoa Pods, Swift Package Manager, Carthage).
  • Ability to translate wireframes and designs into pixel‑perfect views using Auto Layout and SwiftUI.
  • Excellent collaboration and decision‑making skills in fast‑paced, cross‑functional environments.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Option 1:
    Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area AND 3 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
  • Option 2: 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area AND 1 year’s experience in software engineering or related area.
  • Experience creating inclusive digital experiences and implementing Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.2 AA) and assistive technologies.
