Senior Software Engineer; Box Office Platform

Responsibilities

• As a Senior Software Engineer on the Box Office Platform team, you will build and operate services and automation that power Core Weave’s hardware lifecycle management experience.
• These Services enable internal stakeholders to manage repairs and remediation of server nodes as Core Weave continues to grow.
• You’ll own Go-based services and APIs that connect our data centers, vendors, and internal platforms, ensuring they are reliable, scalable, and easy to integrate with.

• 5+ years of experience as a software or infrastructure engineer building and operating production systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience designing and implementing container-based microservices and integrating open-source tools to customize backend solutions.
• Experience designing, implementing, and operating APIs using gRPC and/or GraphQL and REST, including versioning, authentication, and observability.
• Hands‑on experience working with databases (e.g., relational and/or No
  
  SQL), including schema design, query optimization, and data modeling to support operational and reporting use cases.
• Proven professional experience writing production‑grade backend services in Go (Golang).
• Experience in large‑scale physical infrastructure environments (data centers, hardware fleets, or similar).
• Experience building internal tooling or limited UIs to support backend systems (e.g., operational dashboards or admin interfaces).
• Experience integrating with third‑party and vendor APIs in complex, heterogeneous environments.
• Experience with Kubernetes or similar container orchestration platforms, including deploying and operating backend services on them.
