The candidate will become a member of a creative, high tempo, collaborative, cross functional, dynamic and multi disciplinary THAAD interceptor flight software  FSW  team  This team performs the analysis, design, development, and test of the embedded flight software and the real time, Hardware In The Loop  HWIL  missile testbed  Opportunities are available to participate in all elements/steps of the software development cycles

* Basic Qualifications:

* Requires an Engineering BS degree and/or MS degree combined with related experience commensurate with the position

 Must have experience in Object Oriented programming and C

Experience with a scripting language

US Citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance

* Possesses current DoD Secret clearance

 Experience in software development and testing

 Proficient in Linux

Experience with Perl, Python, XML, shell, etc

 Familiar with HW/SW integration

** Work Schedules:

** Schedule for this Position:

** Pay Rate:
** The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York  excluding most major metropolitan areas , Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $76,500    $134,895  For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location  Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only  Lockheed Martin considers factors such as  but not limited to  scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer
