Job Description

Lockheed Martin Space will be hosting an invitation-only hiring event in very early September in Sunnyvale, CA. This requisition is to capture Level 2 through Level 3 Architecture & Algorithms / Agentic AI Machine Learning Engineer candidates to invite to the hiring event. We will be reviewing all Architecture & Algorithms / Agentic AI Machine Learning Engineer applicant resumes, contacting those that meet all of the Basic Qualifications and Desired Skills and may be a fit for one of our open roles, and interviewing candidates for the appropriate level opportunities.

If invited to the event, you will be provided with the details regarding date, time, and location of the invitation-only hiring event.

We will be interviewing candidates at Level 2 through Level 3 for roles at the Space AI Talent Center. Candidates will be joining a cross-functional team of experts in research, data science, software development, physics, and mathematics. As a key member of this team, you will leverage cutting-edge AI/ML tools and techniques to tackle the most complex challenges in Space - all in support of our national security.

Your expertise will grow and your experience will be put to the test! The positions are on-site 100% of the time.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics) or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a related technical field.

Experience with machine learning concepts and algorithms
Strong Python and other programming skills
Strong collaboration and communication skills

Experience with agile software development methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)

Desired skills

Candidates with Agentic AI expertise will be afforded priority consideration!
Advanced experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, or Image Processing

Experience with Tensor Flow, PyTorch, Keras, or Scikit-learn

Experience with Cloud and cloud native technologies like AWS and Kubernetes

Experience with MLOps or Dev Ops and CI/CD processes

Experience with unit testing and debugging techniques
Strong expertise in integrating disparate software systems
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug complex issues
