Role summary: As a Senior Software Engineer at Walmart, you will lead the delivery of scalable, secure software solutions by collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will drive the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance, while integrating advanced AI/ML components to enhance platform capabilities. This role demands strong technical judgment, continuous improvement, and proactive problem-solving to meet business objectives.

• Own scoped feature and model delivery through collaborative engineering teams, managing implementation, iteration, testing, and support.
• Write clean, efficient, and reliable code across multiple languages, driving full software development lifecycle including CI/CD and automated testing.
• Integrate AI and ML components to enhance software intelligence and leverage generative AI tools to improve velocity.
• Assist in converting high-level designs into detailed, scalable, and maintainable solutions aligned with platform objectives.
• Engage stakeholders to translate complex problems into actionable technical requirements and measurable success metrics.
• Monitor application performance and ensure adherence to project milestones through proactive Dev Ops practices.
• Mentor peers, promote engineering best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

• Proven expertise in object-oriented programming and documentation-based coding practices.
• Strong experience in delivering scoped features and managing full software development lifecycle including CI/CD and automated testing.
• Proficiency in debugging, code review, and continuous development methodologies.
• Ability to design scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions aligned with platform objectives.
• Experience integrating AI/ML components and leveraging generative AI tools to enhance development.
• Demonstrated technical judgment and problem-solving skills with a focus on quality and performance.
• Effective collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional teams.
