About the team: Our team develops the Walmart Business mobile app, delivering native Android and iOS experiences for business and enterprise customers. We focus on shopping, account management, payments, orders, store capabilities, personalization, and AI-powered assistance. Collaborating closely with Product, UX, Store Operations, Identity, Payments, Search, Marketing, and AI platform teams, we deliver scalable and reliable customer experiences. The team values ownership, strong engineering fundamentals, collaboration, and curiosity.

Mobile engineers contribute beyond mobile, engaging in backend and web development while leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity and delivery quality.

What you'll do:

• Buildhigh-qualitycustomerexperiencesacrossmobile,backend,andwebplatforms.
• UseAI-powereddevelopertoolstounderstandunfamiliarareas,accelerate delivery,improve testing,andraisecodequality.
• Contributebeyondmobilefrontendbyworkingonbackendservices,APIs,Order Lifecycleworkflows,andwebfrontendwhenneeded
• Applystrongengineeringfundamentalstosolveproblemsacrossthefullproductstack.
• Deliverscalablefeaturesforshopping,account management,orders,payments,tax-exempt,andstoreworkflows.
• Partner with Product,UX,platform,AI,andcross-functionalengineeringteams.

What you'll bring:

• Strongsoftwareengineeringfundamentals,includingsystemdesign,data structures,API integration,testing,debugging,and production-quality delivery.

• Willingnesstoworkbeyondmobilefrontend,includingbackendservices,APIs,Order Lifecyclesystems,andwebfrontendwhenneeded.
• FamiliaritywithAIconceptssuchasLLMs,prompt engineering,RAG,embeddings,vector search,andagenticworkflowsisaplus.
