Sales and Operations Engineering is part of IS&T and drives the technology behind Apple's global operations, sales, and supply chain. The team connects the systems that move products from factory to customer - bridging sales platforms with the operational infrastructure that keeps Apple running at scale and ensuring Apple's technology and business priorities move in lockstep.

Apple E-Business Services team is seeking an outstanding hands on Integration Software Engineer with passion for developing highly scalable integration platforms. This is an excellent opportunity for a self motivated, enthusiastic, result oriented person to design and build Java based B2B ‘infrastructure as code’ components using technologies like object storage and no sql databases. • 1. Design and develop frameworks that process high volume transactions with Apple's partners
• 2. Utilize sound judgment and strong technical leadership to drive enhancements and scale our B2B platforms
• 3. Develop solutions that will optimize availability and consistency for applications deployed across multiple data centers and cloud providers.
• 4. Develop and enhance frameworks for managing persistence, event processing, uniqueness, transaction correlation and notifications.
• 5. Work closely with domain specific project developers, operations and systems engineers.

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field
• More than 2+ years experience in building frameworks using middleware like Apache Camel.
• Strong programming experience (more than 3+ years) in Java or Python for building middleware or backend applications.
• More than 2+ years experience in working with Oracle or similar relational databases and No
  
  SQL databases such as MongoDB.
• Strong understanding of HTTP/S, TCP, DNS, load balancing, JVM, OS, networking, and security protocols including TLS/SSL, SSH/SFTP, PKI, X.509, or PGP.
• Firsthand experience in performance tuning of applications and databases.

• Familiarity with AI/ML fundamentals is a plus
• Results oriented and demonstrates high degree of ownership and accountability.
• Communicate quickly and effectively; vertically and horizontally through the organization.
• Working experience in Agile development methodology. Knowledge of integrations with cloud based solutions is a plus
• Handle ambiguity and solve problems despite uncertainties.
• Ability to lead large projects focussing on innovation, team work and results. Demonstrated track record of achieving outstanding results in professional career.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $150,400 and $225,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
