** level 3 SW Engineer with an active Secret security clearance to work from our Sunnyvale, CA location** .

Job Description
+ Administers team infrastructure including RHEL virtual machines.
+ Remediates cybersecurity findings on code and infrastructure.
+ Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities.
+ Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment.
+ Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle.
+ Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software.
+ Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.

** Basic Qualifications*
* Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering with Computer Science and Computer Engineering studies or other related discipline from an accredited college/university.
This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen.

Experience with systems administration on Linux.
+ Skills to troubleshoot issues with minimum supervision.
+ Ability to collaborate with others.
+ Ability to interpret requirements and implement them.
+ Programming experience required.
+ SQL
** Desired Skills*
* Administrative experience with:
+ Red Hat Open Stack, AWS, or other cloud platform
+ Linux Server
+ Jira
+ Git Lab
+ Python / Java
+ SQL
+ Docker
+ MySQL Server
+ Bash scripting
+ VM management
Familiarity with:
+ Python, Java
+ Object Oriented Methodologies and UML Modeling Techniques.
+ OS background to include Red Hat Linux, Windows;
+ Fundamental knowledge of program planning principles.
+ Familiarity with spacecraft subsystems, hardware, telemetry, command & control.
+ Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, Confluence
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office Products
** Pay Information*
* Full-Time Salary Range: $122600.00 - $227600.00
