You will be responsible for architecting and implementing the platform layer (Boot loader through system software) on a large scale embedded system. This will also include image and software lifecycle management - packaging, upgrades, high availability, and telemetry/debug infrastructure. You will have the opportunity to design and implement the system from the ground up.

• 5+ years experience working with the Linux Kernel, drivers, and platform bring-up
• Experience working with HW vendors on requirements and specifications
• Experience with SW lifecycle management (packaging, upgrades, etc.) on an embedded system
• Experience with k8s, Helm charts, Ansible, and other cloud orchestration technologies
• Experience with bare-metal provisioning technologies (DHCP, PXE, IPMI)
• Understanding of Secure Boot chains (boot loader, GRUB, dm-verity, and IMA)
• Experience with SELinux policy creation and tuning
• Strong C, bash, and python programming skills
• Experience developing hardware validation and stress testing suites
• Experience deploying observability and metrics stacks
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• FIPS and CC certification experience is a plus
• Rust programming experience is a plus

We offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support our employees’ health, well-being, and long-term success. The expected salary range for this position is $150,000 – $250,000 per year. Within this range, individual pay is determined based on job-related factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. Most candidates can expect an offer within the range listed above.
