- Logistics Coordinator

- Duration: 12 Months
- The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the efficient and cost‑effective coordination of inbound and outbound shipments, with a strong focus on international shipments and compliance.
- This role requires a detail‑oriented individual with excellent organizational and communication skills, and a thorough understanding of international shipping regulations and documentation.
- The Logistics Coordinator will manage the entire shipping process, from initial planning and documentation to final delivery, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Coordinate and track all inbound and outbound shipments, both domestic and international.
- Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Monitor shipment progress and proactively address any delays or issues that may arise.
- Optimize shipping routes and methods to minimize costs and improve efficiency.
- Prepare and process shipping documents, including packing lists, bills of lading, and customs declarations.
- Manage all aspects of international shipments, including import/export documentation, customs clearance, and compliance with international trade regulations.
- Prepare and review all necessary international shipping documents, such as commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and export declarations.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable import/export laws and regulations, including customs regulations, trade agreements, and sanctions.
- Work with customs brokers and freight forwarders to facilitate the smooth and efficient clearance of goods through customs.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in international trade regulations and advise internal stakeholders on the impact of these changes.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all shipments, including shipping documents, tracking information, and communication logs.
- Ensure that all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with applicable regulations.
- Prepare reports on shipping activities, including shipment volumes, costs, and delivery performance.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all shipping-related inquiries.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, suppliers, customers, and internal departments to resolve any shipping issues.
- Proactively identify and address potential shipping delays or problems.
- 100% onsite Sunnyvale, CA
Pay Range: $33/hr on a W2 Basis
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
