Position

Summary

As a Collation Supervisor, you will lead our production operations, ensuring manufacturing processes run smoothly and efficiently. You will oversee a team of production workers, manage production schedules, maintain high‑quality standards, drive productivity, ensure safety, and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the facility.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, manage, and supervise a team of production workers from Leads to general labor.
  • Assign tasks and monitor the daily activities of the production team.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to employees.
  • Ensure sub‑department production schedules and targets are met.
  • Monitor sub‑departments production processes and adjust schedules as needed to meet demand.
  • Coordinate with other sub‑departments to ensure smooth workflow and efficient production.
  • Implement and enforce quality control standards and procedures for the responsible sub‑department.
  • Inspect products to ensure they meet quality specifications for the responsible sub‑department.
  • Identify and resolve production and quality issues within the time frame of the job schedule for the responsible sub‑department.
  • Enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for the responsible sub‑department.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and coordinate training sessions for the responsible sub‑department.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards for the responsible sub‑department.
  • Identify areas for improvement in the sub‑department production process.
  • Implement and execute lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Implement and execute cost reduction and efficiency improvement projects.
  • Maintain accurate and updated records of sub‑department production activities and initiatives, including output, quality, inventory levels, and implementations for the responsible sub‑department.
  • Prepare and submit sub‑department operations reports to management.
  • Document any incidents, accidents, or quality issues for the responsible sub‑department.
  • Manage the allocation of sub‑department use of materials, machinery, and workforce to optimize production efficiency.
  • Ensure that all necessary materials and supplies are available for sub‑department production.
  • Identify training needs and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for sub‑department production staff.
