Production Manager

Position Overview The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing operations throughout the production and distribution life of the product. This role will ensure production operations run smoothly and efficiently, while meeting all quality standards.

This role will be responsible for the planning, coordinating and controlling of manufacturing processes to ensure products are produced on time and within budget.

This position is expected to uphold the Why and Culture Principles as established by the organization.

Key Responsibilities Culture & Leadership Supervise day-to-day functions of production Leads and staff Establish communication across appropriate departments regarding production concerns, issues, and progress Evaluate performance of production staff providing time feedback and development opportunities Provide leadership and guidance to ensure a positive culture and healthy work environment Works alongside Human Resources regarding hiring, terminating, and performance management of direct reportemployees

Resource Management Allocate resources, including labor, equipment, and materials to maximize productivity Evaluate machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime

Performance & Data Analysis Ensure job details are maintained, measured, and reported including budget vs. actual, quality output frommanufacturing, on time delivery, rework, and efficiency Implement appropriate corrective actions when applicable

Planning and Scheduling Prepare production schedule to establish sequence and lead times of each operation to meet shipping deadlinesaccording to sales forecasts and/or customer orders Coordinate workflow and related needs to ensure smooth production operations Utilize the ERP system to:o Ensure data accuracyo Assist in maintaining accurate workstation routings, bills of material, and routing steps Identify and resolve production-related issues promptly and effectively

Quality & Process Improvement Maintain compliance with OSHA, ISO, ASME, and other relevant manufacturing standards Monitor production and quality control standards to ensure products meet specifications Document, address, and resolve any quality issues that arise including corrective actions when appropriate Drive continuous improvements to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction

Safety & Compliance Monitor and enforce compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards and requirements Adhere to all company, health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeingof self, staff and visitors

Minimum Qualifications Working knowledge of weld fabrication, machining, fitting, assembly, inspection and production routingpractices in a custom or engineered-to-order manufacturing environment Ability to read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, machining drawings, weld symbols, bills of material, routings, and customer specifications Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, labor allocation, capacity planning, workflow coordination, and on-time delivery performance Experience using an ERP or manufacturing system to review work orders, routings, material availability, laborreporting, job status, and production priorities Demonstrated ability to lead welders, machinists, fitters, assemblers, and production leads while maintaining accountability for safety, quality, productivity, and schedule performance
