We are seeking an experienced nursing leader to serve as Nursing Manager for our Intensive Care and Cardiovascular Step-Down Units (ICU/CSU). This full‑time leadership role at a community‑based hospital in Sunnyvale, Texas, oversees clinical operations, staff performance, and patient care delivery to ensure high‑quality outcomes and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities- Lead and oversee daily clinical operations, patient care delivery, and staff performance for the ICU/CSU.
- Manage departmental staffing, scheduling, resource utilization, and budget adherence.
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop high‑performing nursing teams while holding staff accountable through coaching and performance management.
- Drive patient flow, quality outcomes, and core measure compliance to promote a culture of safety and service excellence.
- Ensure unit compliance with CMS, Joint Commission, and evidence‑based practice standards.
- Address employee and patient concerns promptly and professionally, and participate in hospital leadership meetings and committees.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required;
Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred. - Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- 3 to 5 years of nursing leadership or supervisory experience in an acute care setting.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory standards (CMS, Joint Commission) and experience with budget management and staffing optimization.
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
- Preferred: ARDCS or CCI certification, and bilingual skills.
- Base salary: $100,000 – $124,500 per year
