As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps discourage security-related incidents. You will support access screening as needed, use a computer and/or tablet to document activity, and deliver customer-focused service by providing directions and clear communication.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients, tenants, shoppers, and/or staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including addressing disturbances, assisting with access concerns, and documenting actions taken.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, storefront perimeters, entrances, exits, and parking areas as assigned.

+ Help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other policy violations through high-visibility presence, patrol observations, and timely reporting of suspicious activity.

+ Monitor and report facility conditions such as unsecured doors, damaged property, and/or hazards to site management, and complete accurate incident reports and daily activity logs.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.

+ X-Ray screening experience is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Loss prevention experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
