Learn more:  As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to deter security-related incidents.

You will support access control, assist with visitor and employee screening, and use a computer or tablet to document activity. At Allied Universal, you will bring a customer-focused approach while working with integrity, teamwork, and an agile, reliable mindset.

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of sales floors, entrances, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance issues according to post orders.
• Complete routine reports, incident documentation, and shift logs, and communicate clearly with Allied Universal leadership and on-site contacts.

• Job Schedule:
• Thursday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Friday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sunday 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
