Security Officer Patrol Screening Associate

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner while documenting relevant activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, common areas, entrances, exits, stock areas, and perimeter to help deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or unauthorized access, and report observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Support access control, opening and closing activities, and/or crowd and traffic flow during busy business periods, special events, or deliveries.

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X‑Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
