** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with store personnel, visitors, and/or local responders as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail areas, common spaces, entrances, exits, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.

+ Monitor access points, observe customer and employee traffic, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns according to site protocols.

+ Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while supporting loss prevention awareness and helping to deter theft, trespassing, and/or unauthorized access.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

+ Loss prevention experience is preferred.

+ Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ X-Ray screening experience is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
