As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Screening in Sunnyvale, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. • Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem‑solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout sales floors, entrances, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, hazards, and/or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Support loss prevention and store operations by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with crowd and line monitoring, and following post orders related to opening, closing, and after‑hours activity.

• Have at least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X‑ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
