Job Role s And Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, direct, and control industrial electrical construction projects.
  • Lead and supervise electrical crews, foremen, and subcontractors.
  • Interpret diagrams, blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Plan layouts and installation of electrical raceways, wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Ensure concealed raceways are installed before completion of walls, ceilings, floors, and equipment pads.
  • Install and oversee installation of switch gear, transformers, switches, bus duct systems, and electrical distribution equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair faulty electrical equipment and systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and project specifications.
  • Coordinate project activities with inspectors, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Accompany inspectors during project reviews and inspections.
  • Monitor workforce productivity, morale, and project performance.
  • Advise management regarding equipment hazards and operational concerns.
  • Manage project schedules, cost controls, and administrative documentation.
  • Work flexible schedules including overtime, evenings, and weekends when required.
  • Support medium-voltage and high-voltage terminations when applicable.
Qualifications And Certifications
  • 5+ years of experience in a supervisory position.
  • Active Texas Journeyman Electrician License required.
  • OSHA 30 Certification required or must be obtained within six months of hire.
  • Ability to understand project scopes and objectives.
  • Advanced knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices.
  • Ability to read drawings and interpret specifications.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve project issues.
  • Advanced understanding of construction scheduling and cost control.
  • Proficiency with computers and construction technology tools.
  • Strong time management, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain professionalism.
  • Experience with MV and HV terminations preferred.
