Building Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Building Maintenance Technician with a strong background in preventive and corrective maintenance within a manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience maintaining production equipment, particularly in wood truss manufacturing environments.

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on manufacturing equipment
• Maintain and repair equipment such as:
  • MiTek Wizard Tables
  • Automated roller conveyor systems
  • Component saws and precision cutting equipment
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Chain drives, bearings, motors, gearboxes, and conveyors
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
• Conduct routine inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and equipment calibration
• Minimize downtime through effective preventive maintenance planning
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, mechanical drawings, and schematics
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with OSHA and safety standards
• Collaborate with production teams to support operational efficiency

• Experience in manufacturing maintenance required
• Strong knowledge of industrial equipment repair and troubleshooting
• Experience with MiTek truss manufacturing equipment highly preferred
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
• Strong commitment to safety and quality standards
