Material Handler III - ORDER PICKER 2nd Shift; Sunnyvale, Texas

Primary Objective

Operates various powered industrial trucks to pick customer orders and conveys orders to packing station or shipping area.

• 2nd: M-F, 2:30pm-11:00pm

• Sit-Down Forklift
• Stand-Up/Reach Forklift
• Order Picker/Cherry Picker Forklift

• Picking – Operate powered industrial truck(s) to assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets; key order into Warehouse Management System (WMS); verify stock availability and audit orders for accuracy; convey picked orders to packing station or shipping area.
• Receiving – Operate various powered industrial trucks to receive product into warehouse and prepare for stocking; open crates and inspect product; apply labels according to established procedures; verify shading of product and place into accurate warehouse location.
• Putaway – Utilize powered industrial equipment to move product into pre‑designated areas within warehouse once received; key location into inventory control system and place product onto shelves; ensure product is placed into accurate location.
• SPC Check/Pack Checking – Wrap and pack products by hand into boxes for shipping; label boxes with packing slip; load boxes into conveyor belt; verify orders for accuracy.
• General – Monitor equipment or processes and report problems to supervisor; follow standard operating and safety procedures; keep area safe, clean, and organized.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 or more years of previous distribution/warehouse experience, including a minimum of 6 months to 1 year of sit‑down forklift, reach truck, and OP experience.
• Good oral and written communications skills; good record‑keeping; good listening; accurate measurement capability; ability to understand and speak English.
• Ability to work safely and conscientiously.
• Must be Dal‑Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.
• Performs other related duties as required.
