A General Manager is responsible for ensuring the success of our swim lessons by training, managing and motivating a successful team, coordinating and reviewing class schedules and ensuring you have a school that’s set up for success at every lesson. You’ll guide new team members and families through their first days at Goldfish and be there to support them as they progress in our program and in life.

- Do the right things, making the right decisions and treating people with integrity, compassion and trust
- Understand and lead the daily operations to ensure the school is running according to Goldfish Swim School’s standard operating procedures
- Provide training to staff and stay on track with enrollment goals and any subsequent goals intended to measure success
- Gain high level competency in class bookings, scheduling, reporting and administrative functions as well as the Goldfish Swim School curriculum, swim lesson quality standards and safety standards
- Working in a fun environment with children, families and people of all ages fuels your passion
- You are a coach mentality and leading teams if your thing - it’s the core of what we do
- Providing member services and seeing those people leave happy excites you
- 7+ years of leadership experience and a passion for coaching young adults in the early stages of employment
- Sales and/or membership sales and retention skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, conflict resolution skills and someone adept at leading and holding others accountable
- Problem solving skills, understanding of decision making and what’s best for both the business and the customer
- Ability to direct and oversee the implementation of the Emergency Action Plan and all safety procedures for the school
- This position maintains a set schedule Saturday-Wednesday (closed Thursday/Friday)
