Position: Meat Team Leader (Department Manager)
Whole Foods Market -  - Responsibilities:
Provide overall leadership to the Meat team and manage daily operations including profitability, expense control, buying, merchandising, labor, regulatory compliance and special projects;
Hire, develop, coach, mentor, motivate, and counsel Team Members and manage separations in partnership with Store Leadership;
Monitor and achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets; project annual sales and expenses and prepare operating budget;
Manage ordering and inventory to contribute to profit margin;
Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with department/store leadership and vendors; stay aware of competitors and industry trends;
Maintain customer focus and ensure outstanding customer service; supervise team to meet health, safety, and regulatory standards
