Tax Associate

About the Role

As a First Year Tax Professional, you will assist clients with their tax preparation needs during the busy tax season.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information needed to prepare their tax returns.
• Prepare individual tax returns using company-provided software and training.
• Review financial documents and identify eligible deductions and credits.
• Explain tax return information and filing options to clients.
• Provide exceptional service and build trust with clients.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive client information.
• Complete required training and continuing education programs.
• Support office operations during the busy tax season.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Required Skills

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Willingness to learn tax preparation skills and technology.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule during tax season.

Preferred Skills

• Customer service, retail, banking, or office experience.

Pay range and compensation package

Competitive starting pay of $18/hour, plus potential bonus opportunities.
