Role Description The Senior HSE Coordinator – US Industrial is a full-time, on-site role based in Superior, WI. This position is responsible for coordinating, implementing, and monitoring health, safety, and environmental programs on industrial construction sites to ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and regulatory standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting site inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations, as well as supporting job hazard analyses and safe work planning.

The Senior HSE Coordinator provides coaching to site personnel, facilitates safety meetings and training, and promotes a proactive safety culture. The role also involves maintaining HSE documentation, preparing reports, assisting with audits, and collaborating with project managers and supervisors to continuously improve safety performance.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in health, safety, and environmental coordination within industrial or construction environments, including site inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Strong knowledge of applicable US safety and environmental regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA), industry best practices, and HSE management systems.
• Proficiency in developing and delivering safety training, toolbox talks, and HSE communications to diverse site teams.
• Ability to interpret technical documents, procedures, and drawings to identify and mitigate safety risks on industrial construction projects.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and craft workers.
• Competence in using standard office and HSE-related software (e.g., MS Office, incident reporting systems) for documentation, reporting, and data analysis.
• Relevant post-secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience; professional safety certification (e.g., CSP, CHST, or similar) is an asset.
• Proven ability to work on-site in industrial settings, maintain a visible presence, and support a strong safety culture through leadership and example
