Training Specialist

That’s why we’re looking for a Training Specialist who can turn policies into “aha!” moments and orientation into a warm welcome. You’ll be the go-to guru for onboarding, development, and keeping our people ready to rock their roles.

• Lead new employee orientation that makes the first day feel like a win
• Design and deliver engaging training sessions, workshops, and on-the-job learning
• Create handbooks, tutorials, and training materials that don't collect dust
• Use tech to make learning flexible, accessible, and just-in-time
• Evaluate what’s working, what’s not, and continuously level-up our training programs
• Partner with departments to build a learning culture across the credit union

• Have 3–5 years of training or instructional experience under your belt
• You’ve worked in the financial world and know that training in this space takes accuracy, compliance, and a whole lot of clarity
• Love organizing information as much as you love helping people
• Can explain software or a new policy without anyone dozing off
• Are detail-obsessed, tech-savvy, and comfortable flying solo or working as part of a team
• Can travel when needed and communicate with everyone from new hires to execs

• Employees feel confident and prepared because of you
• Training is effective, accessible, and aligned with our mission
• Learning programs show real results — with the metrics to back it up
• Your ideas help make work better, faster, and a little more fun

• Have experience with Microsoft Office, loan software, or training tech
• Love continuous improvement and aren’t afraid to try something new
• Bring positive energy to every session (and know how to read the room)
