Senior Lecturer of Chemistry
Facilitates classroom, online, and/or laboratory instruction and assists with instructional development and design for a single course or series of courses within an academic discipline to support the delivery of quality instruction. Provides for-credit instruction in formats such as classroom, online and/or laboratory settings, including grading. Serves as an instructor of record.

- Develops instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction
- Serves as an initial point of contact for students as it relates to specific course or series content and expectations

Part-Time: 20-60% appointment, Instructional Academic Staff, Fall semester 8/26/2026 – 1/9/2027, 1-3 vacancies
Job Responsibilities:- Teach one to three laboratory sections of General Chemistry I, a required course for science majors.
- Facilitate laboratory instruction and assist with the instructional development for the course to support the delivery of quality instruction.
- Provide for-credit instruction in a laboratory setting, including grading. Serves as an instructor of record.
- Complete required trainings and professional development as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Master of Science in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field
- Evidence of ability to teach and work with students
Qualifications:
- At least one semester of college laboratory teaching experience.
$43,500 full-time equivalent (FTE) annual salary based on a 9-month appointment. Actual salary will be prorated based on appointment percentage (20-60% FTE).
