Build the Schedule. Drive the Turnaround.What You’ll DoPer Sé Group is seeking an experienced Turnaround Lead Scheduler to support a major refinery turnaround at Cenovus’ Superior Refinery. This is not a capital projects scheduling role—we’re looking for a turnaround professional who understands mechanical work execution and can build, optimize, and lead complex turnaround schedules from the ground up.
You’ll develop a new Primavera P6 turnaround schedule, lead schedule reviews with planners and contractors, perform quality control on planning step-outs, identify schedule risks and opportunities, and provide critical scheduling leadership from planning through execution.
This role is ideal for someone who has lived refinery turnarounds, understands how mechanical work is executed in the field, and thrives in a fast-paced outage environment.
What You’ll Bring- 8–10+ years of refinery, petrochemical, LNG, or chemical plant turnaround scheduling experience
- Previous experience as a Turnaround Planner with a strong mechanical planning background
- Proven experience building and managing turnaround schedules in Primavera P6
- Experience creating new turnaround schedules and logic from the ground up
- Strong understanding of mechanical turnaround planning, work packages, shutdown/startup sequencing, and execution logic
- Experience leading schedule reviews and integrating contractor schedules
- Ability to identify schedule risks, recommend solutions, and support turnaround leadership
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and organizational skills
- Experience mentoring planners and schedulers preferred
- IPS experience, pipefitter or boilermaker background, PMP certification, or related degree are considered assets
Please Note: This position is intended for experienced Turnaround Schedulers. Candidates whose background is primarily in capital project scheduling will not be considered.
