Project Manager - Supply Chain

Project Manager - Supply Chain to lead project delivery for global procurement transformation projects for our premium client

Our client is embarking on a groundbreaking transformation of their global end-to-end processes. The goal is to deliver cutting edge, efficient and impactful solutions for their global procurement function.

Duration: 12 month contract role – Full time

Required: Immediate start

Based: Kuala Lumpur - Working arrangement hybrid (60/40)

Key Accountabilities:

• Lead one or more global procurement transformation projects, encompassing Salesforce, SAP Ariba, SAP ERP, SAP S/4 HANA and other legacy applications.
• Apply outstanding project management methodology to drive successful delivery
• Ensure all project management deliverables are in place, documented and managed (e.g. charter, plan, financials, governance, progress updates, risk register, change log, action plan) within the agreed project framework (e.g. ADO etc)
• Develop, drive and maintain a workplan for the program / initiative and ensure delivery to that timeline considering impact on resourcing and budget.
• Drive delivery of project timely, within budget and to agreed quality ensuring goals for customer satisfaction/ business/ project requirements are met.
• Ensure appropriate governance, stakeholder engagement and communication are in place and handled appropriately to ensure project success, and where appropriate across related projects
• Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.
• Proactive management and resolution of risks and issues with appropriate escalation.

Qualifications;

• Degree or equivalent education or experience required
• Qualification in Project Management Certification, APICS, Value stream mapping, Six Sigma
  -Lean, PMP or Agile
• Network optimization software certification would be an advantage

To be successful:

Have 5-10 years minimum relevant experience - Project management lead

Must have large scall exposure to leading Supply chain change and transformation projects within APAC

Experience delivering in a diverse, multi-cultural environment with project delivery teams and stakeholder located across different countries primarily Malaysia, India, Hungary, United Kingdom and North America.

Comfortable with a monthly rate of between –
11,500
-13,000 MYR pending suitability;

Solid experience in project management, technology (Agile, Salesforce, SAP Procurement, S/4 Hana) and domain (procurement, strategy to contract, purchase to pay)

Experience in lubricants business would be an advantage

Able to challenge and influence across different levels
