Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our innovative construction team. This is a full‑time position. Travel will be required within the regional area of Superior, WI.
Responsibilities- Analyze malfunctions and repairs
- Repair, and maintain asphalt and aggregate equipment
We prioritize the safety and welfare of our road construction processes by following the company’s safety programs and policies, thereby mitigating risk and improving overall productivity of the projects with safety at the forefront.
BenefitsStarting wage $28-40/hour + overtime depending on experience. Competitive benefit and retirement program including health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance. Paid time off and holidays available.
Qualifications- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have a valid driver’s license, CDL preferred
- Experience in all phases of heavy construction equipment repair preferred
- Physically fit to perform the job functions, including the ability to stand, squat, bend, lift, and walk for long durations
- Able to communicate effectively
- Ability to listen and take direction
- Willingness to be a team player and help train less experienced employees
