Flex Security Officer - Full Time

Primary Locations: Duluth, MN, Superior, WI, & Cloquet, MN

Wage: $21.50/HR

Schedule: Flexible

The Flex Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Work multiple sites as a fill in or for temporary needs.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above-average computer and technology skills.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Professional demeanor.
• Respond to emergencies with rapid and effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
• Willingness to participate in pre-employment screening, including drug screening and background investigation.
• Requires safe driving.
• Willingness to travel out of state and to remote areas.
