Medical Delivery Driver

Full Time Medical Delivery Driver - Duluth, MN - $17.00/hr

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 12:00 pm – 8:30 pm

Med Speed is a healthcare logistics company that transports medical supplies, specimens, and related materials for hospitals, physician offices, and laboratories. This role focuses on safe, on‑time delivery of items using a company‑owned vehicle.

• Drive a company‑owned vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x‑rays, hospital supplies, interoffice mail, and related materials.
• Operate a handheld scanning device to accurately track items throughout the transportation cycle.
• Observe all operating policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload the vehicle with appropriate equipment.
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and keep the vehicle clean, neat and orderly.
• Adapt to changing route assignments and perform duties on any assigned route.
• Show teamwork, cooperation and adaptability with teammates and clients.
• Build and nurture a collaborative Med Speed team culture.

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• 19 years of age with an active driver's license for at least 3 years.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Familiarity with technology and ability to adapt to new systems.
• Ability to follow procedures closely and accurately.
• Ability to determine efficient routing between multiple points.
• Must pass an initial and random drug & alcohol screen.
• Operate vehicles equipped with dash‑cam recording systems in accordance with laws and company policies.
• Drive a non‑commercial vehicle on various roads and in varying weather.
• Excellent driving history.
• Proof of COVID‑19 vaccination may be required.
• Capable of regularly lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to handle varying item weights and physical demands (e.g., lifting from storage racks, walking long distances, standing for extended periods).

All candidates must complete a criminal background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle record (MVR) review. Results are evaluated in accordance with company policy and applicable federal, state, and local laws.
