Are you looking for a reliable, full-time position with steady daytime hours? Spherion is hiring a dependable Warehouse Associate for a local industrial distribution facility. In this role, you will play a crucial part in daily warehouse operations, including receiving goods, filling and labeling liquid containers, operating sit-down forklifts, staging inventory, and loading delivery trucks. Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 - Overtime As Needed
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts, hand trucks, and electric pallet jacks as needed.
- Receive, stock, repackage, and track bulk and packaged inventory.
- Fill, label, and seal drums, kegs, pails, and other containers safely and accurately.
- Place containers on pallets and stage orders for delivery according to schedule.
- Safely load and unload delivery trucks, securing cargo according to manifests.
- Complete and log accurate daily records for received and staged shipments (utilizing load/unload slips).
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment.
Skills &
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED, or related warehouse experience.
- At least 6 months of verifiable forklift experience.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, stoop, climb, and maneuver in a warehouse setting for full shifts.
- Dependable work ethic with strong attention to safety and quality control.
- Familiarity with ERP software or warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Previous experience handling bulk liquids, drum-filling, or material staging.
