About the role
PT Samudra Mahkota Beach (Surabaya) is seeking an experienced and proactive Assistant to the Director to provide comprehensive administrative and executive support. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for managing a wide range of ad hoc tasks to support the Director. This role is based in Surabaya, East Java.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in accounting / hospitality / business administration
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an executive assistant or administrative support role, preferably in a field related to hospitality
- Proficient in MS Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Knowledge in simple Photoshop / photo / video editing is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia
- Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus
- Willing to travel if required
- Trustworthy, loyal, well-mannered, proactive, adaptable, thorough, organized & systematic
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively
- Experience providing support to senior executives or directors highly desirable
- Willing to assist in both office and personal matters
- Handle all administrative matters of management, both business and personal
- Organise and maintain the Director's filing system, both physical and electronic
- Provide support with project management, including tracking deadlines and following up on action items
- Assist with the preparation of presentations, reports, invites and other documents as required
- Act as the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing excellent customer service
- Perform other administrative duties as needed to support the smooth running of the office
- Coordinate logistics for business trips, meetings and events
- Assist in research on various market trends, industry developments and other matters
- Assist in various ad hoc tasks assigned by the Director
