Role Overview

The Head of Legal is responsible for overseeing the companies overall legal function, including legal risk management, land asset protection, litigation management, commercial contract drafting, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and corporate governance standards. This role provides strategic legal support to management to ensure business operations and investment activities are conducted in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement legal strategies that support the achievement of the companies business objectives.
  • Provide legal opinions and advisory to management regarding legal risks and business implications.
  • Manage and supervise all litigation matters and dispute resolution processes.
  • Oversee land procurement processes, legalities, and protection of industrial park land assets.
  • Review and draft all commercial agreements and strategic partnership contracts.
  • Ensure company compliance with regulatory requirements, licensing obligations, and corporate governance standards.
  • Identify and mitigate legal risks related to projects, investments, and operational activities.
  • Coordinate with government authorities and external legal counsel on legal matters.
  • Develop and maintain effective and digitized legal documentation and control systems.
  • Lead, supervise, and evaluate the performance of the legal team.
  • Job Requirements Education

    Bachelors Degree in Law (S1 Hukum)

    Field of Study (Preferred)
    • Business Law
    • Corporate Law
    • Investment Law
    • Land Law
    • Corporate Governance & Compliance
    Experience
    • Minimum 10–15 years of experience in Legal & Compliance.
    • At least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role

    Skills & Competencies
  • Strong knowledge of business law, land law, and corporate law
    .
  • Proven experience in commercial contract drafting and investment agreements
    .
  • Ability to manage and mitigate corporate legal risks
    .
  • Understanding of industrial estate regulations, business licensing (OSS), and corporate governance
    .
  • Experience handling legal disputes (litigation and non-litigation).
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen
    .
  • Decisive and confident in legal risk assessment and decision-making
    .
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
    .
  • High integrity and strong compliance orientation.
  • Proven ability to lead, develop, and manage a legal team
    .
  • Additional Requirements
    • Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
