Distribution and Operation Manager

About the role

As the Distribution and Operation Manager at PT Asia Prima Konjac, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the company's warehousing, storage and distribution operations in Surabaya, East Java. This full‑time position is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of the company's logistics and supply chain activities, with a focus on driving continuous improvement and optimisation.

• Manage and coordinate all warehousing, inventory control, and distribution activities to meet customer requirements and business objectives
• Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of transportation and logistics operations, including freight forwarding and customs clearance
• Optimise warehouse operations and inventory management to improve efficiency, productivity, and cost‑effectiveness
• Implement and monitor performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and report on the performance of the distribution and operations team
• Identify and implement process improvements, cost‑saving initiatives, and innovative solutions to enhance the company's logistics capabilities
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including sales, production, and finance, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment across the organisation
• Manage, mentor, and develop the distribution and operations team, fostering a positive and productive work environment
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to warehousing, transportation, and distribution

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry
• Proven track record in managing warehouse operations, inventory control, and distribution activities
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to optimise processes and drive continuous improvement
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams
• Proficient in using logistics management software and data analysis tools
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to warehousing, transportation, and distribution
• Ability to lead and motivate a team, with a focus on developing and empowering employees
