Role description
As Senior B2B Marketing Specialist, you will be a key member of Arethia's global marketing team, serving as the strategic marketing lead for our Indonesian operations. Based in Surabaya, you will work closely with our Head of Marketing in Switzerland and the local General Manager to develop and execute marketing strategies that drive growth for Hertz Flavours in Indonesia's tobacco and nicotine market.
This role bridges our global brand standards with local market needs, requiring you to be both strategically minded and hands‑on in execution. You will play a crucial role in integrating the Indonesian business with our broader Arethia group, ensuring marketing excellence while building deep understanding of local market dynamics. You will manage trade shows, develop customer‑facing materials, conduct market research, and serve as the vital link between our commercial teams in Indonesia and our central marketing organization across Switzerland, Germany, and Dubai.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in trade marketing, ingredients, FMCG, or related industries.
- Ability to speak and write in English and Bahasa Indonesia fluently and idiomatically.
- Strong project management skills with ability to handle multiple priorities and work independently across time zones.

- Digital marketing skills including website and social media management, content creation, and basic analytics.
- Experience in the flavours, ingredients, tobacco, or nicotine industries with understanding of B2B sales cycles and technical product marketing.
- Strong stakeholder management abilities with experience working in matrix organizations or across international teams.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross‑cultural environments and bridge global and local perspectives.
- Develop and execute B2B marketing strategies that support sales growth and strengthen customer relationships in the Indonesian tobacco and nicotine flavours market.
- Manage trade show participation and customer events, coordinating with our global trade show manager and handling local logistics, booth set‑up, and material preparation.
- Conduct market and competitive research to provide insights on customer needs, market trends, competitor activities, and buying behaviours that inform our marketing strategy.
- Create and localize marketing materials including sales presentations, product sheets, brochures, and website/digital content, working with our central creative team on design and copy, adapting content for local relevance.
- Manage social media presence and content for Hertz Flavours Indonesia, developing engaging posts that showcase our products and expertise while building brand awareness.
