Associate Medical Territory Manager

About the role

Grow Mead Johnson’s business in the assigned territory by implementing the agreed tactics and strategies, and optimally utilizing the resources allocated to the territory. Track, evaluate and develop action plans to ensure business performance and goals are achieved or exceeded. Manage and regularly obtain updated data on customers and the market. Build strong relationships with customers to sustain business growth.

• Grow Mead Johnson’s business in your territory and achieve or exceed agreed business results and demand generation targets.
• Identify business potential in your territory and develop specific plans to gain market share.
• Stay consistent in tracking, evaluating, and taking appropriate actions to drive business performance.
• Compile and regularly obtain updated customer and market data.
• Create and execute quarterly and monthly call plan visits to customers as per target.
• Enhance the scientific image of MJN and build brand equity by conducting HCP educational meetings and managing its budget, objectives, type, and period.
• Work closely with the SFE team to update customers profiling data regularly.
• Ensure product availability in the respective medical channels (Hospital, Pharmacy, Clinic).

• Develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships, especially with key opinion leaders and key decision makers in hospitals and institutions to strengthen Mead Johnson’s competitive position and performance.

• Ensure understanding of, and operate in compliance with, MJN code of business conduct.
• Establish a self‑development plan and enhance performance through self‑learning sales training and regular feedback and coaching.

• Successful experience at a senior rep or district manager level in the nutrition or pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience handling paediatric products is preferred.
• Experience successfully negotiating contracts.
• Demonstrated ability to work with teams in a complex, changing environment to deliver value‑added results.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve superior objectives, e.g., growing sales or market share through superior selling skills.
