Sales executive; Freight Forwarding

This exciting full-time Sales executive (Freight Forwarding) role at PT Samudera Caraka Jasa in Surabaya, offers the opportunity to join a market-leading freight forwarding company. In this strategic position, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining key customer relationships to drive sales growth and profitability.

• Identify and target potential customers in export/import/domestics transportation services (freight forwarding).
• Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities to grow the customer portfolio
• Manage and strengthen existing client relationships through regular communication and exceptional customer service
• Negotiate contracts and pricing to secure profitable business
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to ensure efficient delivery of freight forwarding services
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to meet and exceed revenue targets
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth
• Provide regular sales reports and performance updates to superiors

• Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to analyse data to drive business decisions
• Proactive and self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset
• Collaborative attitude to work effectively with internal/external teams
• Familiarity with freight forwarding processes and industry regulations
• Willing to travel as needed
