Be the scientific voice that connects breakthrough therapies with the healthcare professionals who need them most. In this field‑based role, you'll bridge the gap between cutting‑edge research and clinical practice, building trusted relationships with Key Opinion Leaders while making a tangible difference in the lives of patients living with chronic diseases across Indonesia.

Your new role

As a Medical Scientific Liaison, you will serve as Novo Nordisk's trusted scientific partner for our cardiometabolic portfolio. You'll engage directly with healthcare professionals and Key Opinion Leaders across Surabaya, Malang and some of Jawa Timur area, translating complex scientific data into meaningful insights that enhance patient care and treatment outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Acting as a scientific expert on cardiometabolic therapies for both internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring evidence‑based discussions that drive clinical excellence
  • Building and nurturing strong scientific relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, healthcare professionals, and medical institutions across your territory
  • Translating complex scientific content into clear, relevant communications tailored to the specific needs and interests of diverse healthcare audiences
  • Supporting the generation of Real‑World Evidence (RWE) and investigator-sponsored studies (ISS) to strengthen scientific understanding of our therapies
  • Representing Novo Nordisk Indonesia at scientific events, advisory boards, and cardiometabolic related forums, while collaborating cross‑functionally with Medical Managers and commercial teams
Your new department

You'll join the Medical Affairs team within our Medical & Regulatory function at Novo Nordisk Indonesia. This is a close‑knit, highly motivated team committed to driving impact through science, evidence‑based initiatives, and strong cross‑functional collaboration.

Your skills & qualifications
  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Pharmacist degree from a reputable university
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, preferably within medical affairs or medical‑related functions
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex scientific concepts into clear, engaging discussions for diverse healthcare audiences
  • Strategic and innovative mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities and proven ability to build meaningful scientific relationships with KOLs and HCPs
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) and willingness to travel regularly across your designated territory in a field‑based role
Contract Details

This is a contract position for a duration until 31 Mar, 2027.
